Do you feel like your “wants” have begun to overshadow your thoughts, leaving you with a sense of discontentment? It’s natural to have desires and to work hard for them, we just need to make sure they don’t drive our lives and decisions.
Make it a priority to cultivate gratitude for what you already have and the blessings surrounding you. Dream big, but also slow down. Dedicate time to the people around you, savor the moment, and appreciate the beauty in your life. Remember to rebalance.
Be satisfied with being right here, right where you are today. Choose to be happy, content, and grateful.
REFLECTION
PERSONAL REFLECTION
II have many aspirations for what I want to do next and the path I hope to carve for my family, and these days I’m really trying to include God in every part of my plans. I feel a deep, rooted desire to work for Him now, a new heart posture for me, to be honest.
I am extremely grateful for God’s blessings in my life, but I also take time to reflect on what hasn’t gone the way I expected, striving to see the lessons He intends for me. Watching my children grow so quickly, I pray daily for the patience to slow down and fully embrace these precious days with them while they are still little.
Today, I choose joy and thankfulness.. - Angie
“Give and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full - pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back”
“When we give to others through our time, resources, and love, we open ourselves to receive God’s abundant blessings. His generosity is overflowing and goes beyond our needs. This verse reminds us to give without expecting anything in return. Invest wholeheartedly in the people around you.”
