As you look back on the chapters of your life, which seasons do you remember being fully present in, and which ones felt rushed, focused more on what was next than on what was right in front of you? Were there times when you found yourself waiting for life to “start”?

What emotions surface as you revisit each stage of your journey? Can you recall what you longed for in those moments, what you cherished, and what you struggled with? Did you embrace the goodness in those seasons, or did your attention lean more toward what was missing or broken?

Now, consider today. What blessings can you be truly present and grateful for in this chapter? And where is your heart when it comes to material wealth, does it hold your focus, or is your posture one of contentment and trust?

REFLECTION

PERSONAL REFLECTION

This message truly resonates with me. I’ve always carried a strong drive, to build my career, my home, and to pour into my husband and children. Starting from the bottom with no head start, I worked hard for everything. But as I look back, I realize I didn’t pause enough to truly appreciate each chapter along the way.

It wasn’t until this past year that I stepped back and learned to slow down, be content, and become deeply grateful for where I am. I see now that I don’t need anything more, and I would be just as thankful if I had less. God’s hand has been on every part of my journey, and I am so grateful for His provision and faithfulness.

Something has shifted in my heart. My focus is no longer on striving for “more” but on knowing God more deeply. I want to lean into His Word, trust Him fully, and keep my eyes open to the lessons He is teaching me. - Angie

“The powerful words of the Apostle Paul remind us that true contentment is not based on our circumstances, but is a skill we can learn over time. Even in prison, Paul found peace and satisfaction. Let’s shift our focus from material needs and fill our hearts with gratitude and peace in Christ. In a world flooded with media promising happiness through possessions, hold Paul’s words close and remember true joy comes from our relationship with God, not from what we have.” - Angie

For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.
— Philippians 4:11

“Place your relationship with God at the center of your life, making spiritual growth, faith, and His purposes your top priority. Strive to align your actions with His will, and lift it all to Him in prayer. God is faithful! He will provide what you need spiritually, emotionally, and materially. Do not be weighed down by worry or anxiety - instead, trust in Him and seek Him first.” - Angie

Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.
