Have you experienced God’s overflowing blessings, and can you recall a time when you first gave, whether your time or your resources? Have you seen Him come through for you?

Is there an area of your life where you could bless someone around you, someone you could invest in, give to, or love more intentionally?

Do you find it difficult to say “no” when someone asks for help? Could you dedicate a small portion of your week to giving back? Does your schedule reflect God’s will for your life? Yes, this includes motherhood too, perhaps we can pour into our children by talking to them about God a little more each week.

Take a moment to reflect on the provisions God has given you, and offer Him heartfelt ‘thank you’.

PERSONAL REFLECTION

I loved the analogy she used of shaking the flour into the measuring cup and pressing it down, how we should give our lives to Him graciously and generously, and He returns an overflowing cup of blessings. Good thing we have a lap for that overflowing cup, right?

I also appreciated the emphasis on saying “no”, something it took me a while to learn. Saying “yes” to this study together was a great example of a feeling we all probably share: “I’ve got too much on my plate to make time for this.” May God overflow our blessings for making this time with Him! Can I get an AMEN?

These days, I really try to check my heart when I serve others. Am I doing it out of obligation, or because I genuinely want to be a faithful servant of God and bless my community? I strive to serve for the right reasons. There’s no staircase to heaven, and our good works don’t earn us a ticket in, but they do reflect the posture of our hearts toward Him. - Angie

God is able to make every grace overflow to you, so that in every way, always having everything you need, you may excel in every good work.
— 2 Corinthians 9:8

“God isn’t just capable, He is willing to provide for all of our needs. He seeks to equip us with what we truly require: spiritual, emotional, and physical necessities. He blesses us not only for our own sake, but so that we can be a blessing to others. God desires for us to live with a spirit of generosity and community.” - Angie
