I’m making time in the Word and in these studies because I’ve realized it needs to be a true priority, for my well-being and for my relationship with God to grow. I can’t do it all on my own. I need His strength, guidance, and wisdom. I need His grace and love.
For many years, I tried to do everything myself, and I’ve learned it’s simply impossible. I often pushed my “box” to the back, neglecting it, but now I see the need to change that. What has been wonderfully surprising is how spending time with God fills that empty ‘box’ back up. It’s a constant reminder that I am not alone, and that I was beautifully and wonderfully made by our almighty Creator.
I’ve discovered that I feel so refreshed after worshiping Him, praising Him freely, and even just jamming out in joy. Small meet-ups with faith-filled friends nourish me in ways I didn’t know would. I’ve realized that when I spread love and joy, God’s light shines through me, and it satisfies my soul.
Even simple moments, like sitting outside and appreciating the beauty of God’s creation, fill me with gratitude. God is so good, and His blessings are all around us. Take time to breathe, to pause, and allow God to refill you with the thankfulness, love, and joy He longs to pour into our lives. - Angie
Lord, help us recognize the areas where we can lean in to what nurtures our confidence, strength, and well-being.
Teach us to care for ourselves regularly, so that we can serve others more fully and with a joyful heart.
REFLECTION
PERSONAL REFLECTION
“And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father.”
“This verse emphasizes that every part of our lives, from actions to words, matters. We are called to reflect God’s character in everything we do. Gratitude is a vital aspect of our relationship with God. It reminds us to live intentionally and it fosters a spirit of gratitude. Striving to represent Jesus in everything brings meaning to our lives and glorifies God.” - Angie
