What strikes me most about this one is the weight of grief I endured not too long ago. The kind that comes with losing someone important to this fallen world. It was one of the most devastating losses my family has ever faced. I can see now how the enemy worked in that season, bringing us into a sorrow so deep it still makes me breathe slow and heavy when I think about it. It was painful, confusing, and I just yearned for it to all just be a bad dream. Yet even in that brokenness, I see what God has built in me. I’ve found strength I didn’t know I had. I was strong for my husband and in-laws. I learned to trust Him in ways I never would have before. I believe some things happen that aren’t His plan, but He never leaves us. In the midst of our deepest sorrows, He meets us there. He is the only one who can bring the true comfort our hearts crave. Looking back now, I see the faithful warrior rising up from that pain, and I refuse to let the enemy have the final word. I see how my own faithfulness has deepened, how it shields me from the enemy’s fiery arrow attacks. What once felt like shattering heartbreak has become my strengthening point. I am covered by God, and through His faithfulness, I’ve become a mom and wife who is ready to break strongholds in my family. I pray God keeps reminding me of His presence in my life. I pray that whatever happens will continue to draw me closer to Him. God I know the plans you have for us are good. Please protect us from the enemy's attacks. I know you are here with us, you love us and you're listening to our cries. My hope and trust is in you Lord. Have your way over our lives.

In your own words, how would you describe the difference between having faith and being faithful? Can you recognize that distinction in your own life? Think back to a time when you leaned on your faithfulness to carry you through a difficult season. Can you also recall a moment when you had faith, but struggled to remain faithful? How did that shape the way you walked through it?

  • Would you consider yourself a faithful person? If so, in what areas of your life do you see it most? If not yet, is faithfulness something you long to grow in? Do you hear that gentle whisper from heaven speaking to your soul? Are you listening? Take time to be still… and let Him speak to you.

— Ephesians 1:18

Paul wants us to be flooded with the light, which is the wisdom of God. We are cherished and set apart for a special purpose in His plan. Pray for insight into His ways. Seek to live out his hope in your daily lives.” - Angie
